First Blog...ok I'm strangely a little nervous. I keep a journal of my own but have never written any of my thoughts for anybody else to read.

First and foremost I want to explain the decision of my 'blogger' name. Not too sure on the ‘blogger’ term but I'm sure I'll learn :)

Sangha. It reperesents for me a great and positive attitude. I am of no religion. No, I am not atheist, I believe in god, a god, just not positive on who that god may be.

However, the term Sangha, the belief,

“The sangha embodies two qualities that are truly reliable. The first, direct recognition of the absolute nature of mind, gives rise to the second, the liberation of delusion, confusion and the poisons of mind -- the root causes of suffering. Those who possess these qualities, and fully understand and uphold the vow of refuge, perceive and participate in life in a way that is not at all ordinary. As true sangha members, they are dedicated to refraining from harm and to helping others in any way they can. We can depend on them as examples, as well as for leadership and guidance.” (http://open-site.org/Society/Religion/Buddhism/Sangha)

I would love to be able to live a life like this. I want to live as an example. I want to be good at what I do and want to be able to lead others who are passionate about something I am passionate about.

I feel as though I am passionate about a lot of things. For this blog I want to portray my passion with life and fashion.

I know for many, stringing Buddhist belief like Sangha and fashion may seem unfathomable, nieve, uneducated. But quite honestly I don't care :)

Alright.....enough with the lesson :)

Bottom line this blog will be something for me. The daily struggles and stresses of being a fashion design student in this bleak economy. Wanting/having to live in expensive cities when you have no money. The stresses of graduation from art school, the turmoil, the ups the downs. All while trying to live a peaceful life with yourself, struggling with the realities of ‘the real life’

Peace and love
